Our people and culture
The vision for our culture is to build a company as diverse and the audiences and consumers we speak to every day. We've developed an action plan to commit to change to increase diversity in our New York office which focuses on initiatives around age, disability, ethnic and cultural representation, gender equality, LGBTQ+ inclusion, wellness and more. The plan encompasses initiatives, actions and programs activated under our existing global DEI approach, Havas All In. About the plan, leadership from 600 & Rising said, “Havas dug deep and made the #CommitToChange. Their DEI plan istimegated & specific, making it the mostaccountable plan of all U.S. holding co's.” We actively seek to address the diversity imbalance in our industry through recruitment and mentoring programs, like Havas Emerge, a new program that brings together 27 diverse, emerging leaders from across Havas agencies in North America for a 9-month, 3-module learning experience.
We’re committed to continuous learning, and we encourage all employees to take advantage of unique opportunities. Havas Lofts and Havas NextGen enable people to build new skillsets and gain exposure to the Havas family in other markets, making for stronger collaboration globally between our employees. Femmes Forward is focused on empowering women and helping them accelerate the progression of their careers. And finally, for prospective talent, we launched Havas Open House in the summer of 2020—virtual six-week program that explored how anyone's passion and interests could be turned into a career in advertising.
We are proud of the recognition we've received within our New York Village, especially the ones that were won with the help of our employee's input, like Best Places to Work.
